By attending our 40 hour Basic Mediation Class, you will receive 40 CE hours and 3 ethic CE hours. For those interested in becoming a parenting coordinator or parenting facilitator, this class meets the 40 class room hours in dispute resolution as required by the Texas Family Code - Title 5. Education Scholarship ProgramBarbara Allen continues to offer educational scholarships and internships to students studying at home and abroad at Tarleton State University which is part of the A&M University System in Texas. These opportunities afford students real life work experience in their field of study.

Continuing with her sponsorship, on April 14, 2017 Barbara and MOT mediators Jason Ratka, Char Wittenberg and Peter Wittenberg attended the 10 th Annual San Jacinto Night. Barbara generously donated a painting to the silent auction benefiting The Emergency Services Pipe and Drum Association. A great time was had by all!
Championing Cutting Edge Techniques in Mediation:On March 23, 2017, Barbara Allen and Char Wittenberg were honorary guest speakers at the 2017 Spring Bench Bar Conference sponsored by the Bell County Bar Association. Attended by more than 100 participants, Barbara and Char had the opportunity to discuss with judges and attorneys the value and benefits of co-mediation. The dialogue was robust and well received.
Serving Veterans and their familiesBarbara Allen has been a proud sponsor of the Texas Paralyzed Veterans of America (TPVA) for many years. The latest event was on March 11, 2017, at the 9 th Annual TPVA KILL’N CLAYS CLASSIC. Barbara and MOT mediators participated in this charitable event by being Veteran Team Sponsors and donating live auction items. Several of MOT’s veterans demonstrated their shooting expertise with one of our Veterans even placing!
